What we work on with your dog while they are in our care
*If your dog has any physical limitations or medical conditions, please let us know at the meet and greet.
Please provide a list of the commands your dog knows. (If applicable)
We aim to meet dog’s physical and mental needs while they are in our care. We do so by implementing a variety of different activities, all depending on the weather and each dog’s needs, skills and abilities. Each dog is different, and we will completely customize your dog’s stay for them.
Please note that we do NOT offer board and training (ie. lessons before going home, training guarantee or training guides). We work with each dog as a way to help them have the best possible time while in our care, most dogs love learning new things, it helps them become more confident and comfortable in our home and allows us to build a bond with your dog. This helps your dog have a better, stress-free stay and to look forward to coming back again!
Your dog will be implemented in our daily routine, which includes frequent potty breaks and free roam time in the play yard, training sessions, walks, hikes, down/rest time in kennels, frozen enrichment such as kongs or lick mats, conditioning exercises, chews such as bully sticks, gullet, cod skin, etc, and of course lazy/rest days with a good movie and some cuddles as needed. All dogs are required to sleep in their kennels.
Kennel Room
We have 3 kennels and 1 wire crate that we utilize for your furry friends. Some dogs do better in the regular wire crates, so we have one avaliable if that suits your dog better. We have many different types of beds from raised cots to fluffy donuts, to your regular cushion dog bed, we take time to figure out what your dog likes best and provide them with a freshly cleaned bed and blanket. You are welcome to bring their favorite blanket and bed if you want to!
Each kennel is also equipped with cameras, fresh water, and a white board to ensure all directions are being followed and not overlooked!
We run a HEPA filter and use pet safe cleaning supplies to ensure your dog’s safety and health.
All dogs are required to be in a kennel for periods of time throughout the day. Not only does this ensure safety during other drop offs or pick-ups, but it allows for proper rest time, which all dogs need. Dogs from the same family may share the back two kennels, but all dogs are required to eat in separate kennels, therefor, 3-4 dogs is our max at any given time.
Play Yard
The play yard is roughly 2500 sqft., fully turfed and fenced in. We have a fun caterpillar tunnel for the dogs to jump on and crawl through. Not pictured is other fun play equipment that your dog can jump on or go under. During the cooler weather we pull out agility equipment, such as bar jumps, hoop jumps, and a teeter totter. For the summertime, we have a doggy pool, a splash pad, a sail to provide some shade, and lots of fun indoor activities that we plan to beat the heat!
We use the play yard for play groups, free roam, and to do training sessions.
The play yard is equipped with 2 security cameras, a few flood lights for nighttime play and potty, and dogs are always directly supervised while outdoors.
We pick up waste daily and use Wysiwash to disinfect and clean the turf and other surfaces. Per their website, “The EPA-approved formula is safe to use around animals and humans, yet tough enough to kill infectious diseases like Parvovirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Panleukopenia.”
